Professor Phil Terry, Head of Research and Head of the Graduate Research school, will present at this session.
The presenter is an associate editor of two academic journals and will discuss how journal editors arrive at decisions concerning manuscripts: how reviewers are selected, the nature of peer review, and the decision-making process.The session will present case studies of good and bad practice by authors, reviewers and editors; there will be a discussion of how best to navigate the process.
