In this workshop, academic staff can create or update a ‘My Reading List’ and discuss ways to make best use of it in their module. Please note this session is intended for staff rather than students.
We will focus on how academic staff can create and publish your module reading list using the ‘My Reading Lists’ system that is linked to from Canvas. We will review how to add items provided by the library, such as books, e-books, journal articles or audio-visual material to which the library subscribes. As well as how to add freely available online resources. We will consider different ways to structure the list, and different possibilities for promoting student access to and engagement with items on the list.
Suitable for Academic Staff, especially staff who are new to ‘My Reading Lists’ or want to refresh the list they have.
