The Kingston University Big Read Book Club Week 10
This summer Kingston University wants to keep the Kingston community connected, from new students to alumni and everyone in between. We will be hosting our first-ever series of virtual Book Club meetings, centred around the 2020 Big Read Airhead, written by Newsnight host Emily Maitlis. You'll get to see the chapters of Airhead through the eyes of KU experts in weekly virtual talks from 8 July to 16 September 2020 - a chance you won't want to miss.
Emily Maitlis' career as a broadcast journalist has made her a familiar face throughout Britain. However, she never expected to become an author. This is the case for many celebrity authors, so how do these books come about? Emma Tait, Course Leader for MA Publishing will share her experiences of working with celebrities to identify their stories and produce their books.
Booking closes at 3pm the day prior to the event.
