Join us on the night of October 4th to 5th for The Big Sleep Out, an unforgettable event where we come together to raise awareness and funds for those experiencing homelessness in the borough of Kingston upon Thames.

About The Big Sleep Out:

The Big Sleep Out is a unique opportunity to experience just a fraction of the challenges faced by those without a place to call home, and to hear about ongoing local challenges directly from KCAH staff. By spending one night outdoors, you’ll gain insight into the realities of homelessness and help us raise vital funds to support our programs and services.

This year's sleep out will take place within the grounds of All Saints Church in Kingston Town Centre.

What we need from you:

We’re looking for at least 70 people to register as sleepers and commit to spending the night outside with us. Each sleeper will be tasked with raising money through sponsorship from friends, family, and colleagues. Your support will directly impact the lives of those in need and bring us one step closer to ending homelessness in our community.

We welcome groups of people from the same workplace, church group or similar to take part as small teams!

We aim to raise at least £35,000

If you cannot take part but you want to contribute, please make a donation via JustGiving now

If you run a Scouts group, Guides group or similar: you can set up an Extra Sleep Out at your own venue. Please contact Dan on 020 8255 7400

"Sleeping rough and homelessness has become normalised and yet there is nothing normal about being homeless in a modern, wealthy society. Many people in this situation have been faced with a series of circumstances that led them to homelessness and KCAH’s vision is to help those that need us to have a safe and stable home and to build a happy life. There are up to 32 people sleeping on the streets of Kingston tonight. let’s unite to fight homelessness as together we are stronger. Sign up to our Big Sleep Out today and help raise some big money for a great cause.  You could change somebody’s life."

~Georgie Forshaw, CEO of Kingston Churches Action on Homelessness
