Are you contemplating a career working with children? Do you already have a qualification to work with children but would like to become an Early Years Graduate? Come along to our Early Years recruitment event.

A child's earliest years have the most impact on their future learning and development. More families are seeking formal childcare to support with modern day life but there is a current workforce crisis in the early years sector which makes sourcing childcare places and retaining staff a challenge. Whilst new government funding streams seek to elevate the importance of early education, a recent report commissioned by the Early Education and Childcare Coalition (2023) highlights ‘as many as 50,000 new staff could be needed in 2024 and again in 2025 to maintain existing provision and provide the new entitlement' for young children and their families. We believe that the early years workforce are made up of unique individuals, who are creative, innovative, and inspiring but we need more people working with our youngest generation. Kingston University have teamed up with local employers to promote careers in early years and share information around our work-based degree programmes.

The event is open to those contemplating a career with young children, professionals already working in the sector and others interested in early years education. The evening offers opportunity to network with other professionals, learn about a career in early years and find out more about potential degree pathways to advance your career.

What's more you will have opportunity to access a FREE CPD event on Forest School with industry experts.
