The Introduction to LGBTQ+ Allyship workshop is perfect for your whole staff team to better understand their role in creating a more inclusive workplace.
We know that inclusive workplaces enable everyone to thrive. But when research shows us that 40% of LGBTQ+ people still hide who they are at work, we know there is a long way to go.
LGBTQ+ History Month is a great time to take your next step as an ally. If you’d like to be a more confident and active ally to the LGBTQ+ community in your workplace, this interactive 90-minute workshop will provide you with the learning and practical tools to do this.
What will I learn?
By attending this workshop, you will:
• Learn more about LGBTQ+ identities and experiences in order to better advocate for inclusion
• Understand more about what makes a workplace inclusive for LGBTQ+ people
• Discuss ways that you can step up as an active ally to the LGBTQ+ community
Our interactive workshops are facilitated by Stonewall inclusion experts. We blend information sharing with interactive exercises and group discussions in order to develop participants' understanding of LGBTQ+ inclusion. Delegates will leave the session with more confidence and practical ideas that they can implement in their role.
