The UK Buster Keaton Society. Quarterly meeting of the society dedicated to the appreciation of the silent comedian.

After a selection of Keaton shorts and a break, the second half will be a screening of Free and Easy (1930). This was Keaton’s first talkie, made by MGM and directed by Edward Sedgwick. When Elvira Plunkett wins Gopher City’s beauty contest, the prize is a trip to Hollywood. The event organisers assign her an agent, Elmer Butz (Keaton), to accompany her and her mother to Tinseltown.

The meeting runs from 4pm to 7pm.
