At the end of each month, we celebrate local businesses and creatives with a market outside Not My Beautiful House, in the iconic Kingston Market Place.
At the end of each month, we celebrate local businesses and creatives with a market outside Not My Beautiful House, in the iconic Kingston Market Place. It's free to attend, you can book a stall from just £20+VAT.
Makers Market Terms and Conditions (Please read prior to booking a stall)
- All stall and table bookings must be made at least 3 days prior to the market. Bookings will close 3 days prior and will not reopen.
- Market Tables are first come first serve, they may be located both upstairs and downstairs when inside. Please arrive on time.
March will be our first outdoor market of the year, however all markets will be moved inside if the weather is bad.
- There is no drive on access to the marketplace. Not My Beautiful House has no control over parking restrictions so we unfortunately cannot help you if you get a ticket.
- Set up for the January, February and March Markets are at 10am, the Markets will start at 10:30am.
- By booking a stall or table, you are guaranteeing that all your products are handmade or designed by you.
- If you are selling food, you must have all the proper certifications and qualifications
- If you are selling candles or beauty products, you must have all the proper certifications and qualifications
- You can bring one other person with you to the market. If you need more than one additional person, this must be agreed with us in advance.
- You, or the other person you are with, must be present at your stall at all times. We take no responsibility for your stall, any missing or damaged items; you must not leave any items unattended.
- If you wish to use our payment methods, we charge 20% commission on your sales. We will then send you a breakdown of your sales with an invoice template for you to complete and send to us. Your 80% profit will then be sent to you via BACS payment within 2 weeks.
- If you use your own payment system, we do not take any commission.
- You must bring your own cash float for change and a place to store this if you wish to take cash. You can use ours, but we will charge 20% commission.
- Do not close your stall early. You must pack up at the end of the market. This will be 4pm in January, February and March
- Not My Beautiful House will advertise the makers markets, however we do not guarantee any features for specific vendors, please do not request a feature. We do try to share Instagram stories however so please tag, @notmybeautifulhousekingston
- If you need to contact our staff, you may do so by phone at +44 7983 479498, by email at notmybeautifulhouse@kingston.ac.uk and over Instagram at @notmybeautifulhousekingston. Do not contact any staff members on their personal accounts or personal phone numbers. Do not request the personal details of our staff members as they will not be provided.
- Any inappropriate actions towards our staff, whether it be harassment, the inappropriately contacted members or acting aggressively toward them, will not be tolerated, you will be asked to leave and banned from selling at future markets.
- By booking a stall or table at any of our markets you are agreeing to these terms in conditions.
