The Gorkem Ozalp Trio brings together three London-based musicians with international roots to explore a fresh and contemporary approach to jazz.
Led by guitarist Gorkem Ozalp, who recently moved from Istanbul to London to pursue a master’s degree in Music and Performance at Kingston University, the trio blends modern jazz with rich cultural influences. Earlier this year, Ozalp released his debut EP Addresses, which captures his distinctive style and marks his first recording project in the UK. Joined by bassist Costa Tancredi—who has performed with artists including Eric Clapton and Amy Winehouse—and drummer Burak Ersöz, known for fusing Anatolian traditions with contemporary jazz, the group offers audiences a dynamic and engaging musical experience.
