An English for Academic and Professional Development workshop focusing on the skills and language required in the creation, development and expression of ideas at PhD level. These skills include concept development, overcoming writing blocks, critical reading and evaluation and exploring synergies across disciplines. The focus on language and style includes nominalisation, collocation, hedging, logical coherence and academic style. This workshop aims to support you in the demanding process of writing a doctoral dissertation.
