The day consists of a morning printmaking workshop, lunch, a series of afternoon lectures, and a drinks reception.

The morning workshop will be a practical demonstration of a type of folk print known as "lubok", with Helen Higgins (Courtauld Institute of Art). During lunch, Louise Hardiman (Kingston University) will lead a guided tour of the museum’s Russian collection. The afternoon symposium will feature lectures from Lauren Warner-Treloar (Kingston University), Paul Keenan (LSE), Elizabeth Savage (University of London), and Galina Mardilovich (Smart Museum of Art, University of Chicago).

The lectures will be followed by a Q&A with the speakers.
