An advocate for promoting Women in STEM, lecturer in Aerodynamics Ms Sharon Sharif Moghadam will be exploring her views, experiences and challenges as a female engineer from studying to working in the field.
With a career in Aerospace Engineering, Ms Moghadam has worked at companies such as Rolls-Royce and received a scholarship from the Royal Aeronautical Society for her Masters and PhD degrees and supports development training programmes for both staff – helping enhance classroom and lab experiences as well as providing STEM learning opportunities for new applicants and inspiring younger generations through STEM outreach programs in schools.
