UK Black Pride - An event on behalf of the Staff LGBTQ+ Network and Staff BAME and PoC Networks
UK Black Pride is Europe’s largest celebration for African, Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and Caribbean-heritage LGBTQI+ people. There will be live performances, food, speeches, and opportunities to engage with services and companies that support LGBTQIA+ people of colour.
year the University and Student's Union are very excited to be sending a team to represent Kingston at UK Black Pride. We would love for you to join us in the celebration and to celebrate with our community of LGBTQIA+ people of colour. We will be giving out free KU branded t-shirts and merchandise for those who can join us.
UK Black Pride is taking place on Sunday 14th August at Queen Elizabeth Park and is an all-day event . However you are welcome to join us and leave us as you see fit.
Closer to the time when the timings for the day are released we will be in touch with times and locations to meet on the day as well as the link to our whatsapp group.
