Collaborate and create a textile banner exploring the themes of home, community, climate crisis and migration.
Join KSA’s Splinter Collective as they lead a community banner making workshop at Stanley Picker Gallery. Feeding into the themes of Cultural Diversity Week, students and staff can add text, graphics and icons to the large scale fabric banner, sharing their reflections on home, climate crisis and migration.
The banner will travel to Dorich House Museum for KU’s Kingston Hill community to add their reflections before being exhibited at Dorich House Garden Party, a free event welcoming all, on 15 June.
Splinter’s workshop will offer an opportunity for the KU community to connect in a cultural setting, share their voices and contributions on the current socio-political moment. This event forms part of the Cultural Diversity Week programme.
