Developing a Dementia Friendly Community -

This interactive free online learning event is open to all students, staff, partner agencies and the wider community. This event is developed in collaboration with Kingston's Alzheimer's Society, Dementia Friendly Community Group and aims to raise awareness of how best to support people and their families living with Dementia. Speakers will provide valuable insights into their experiences of supporting people living with Dementia during the last year and will share key learning that you can take away to develop your practice.

As part of this event, we are also delighted to be able to share the production of ‘Grandma Remember Me' again. This is a powerful and moving story about a special relationship between a grandma and her granddaughter and explores the impact that Dementia can have within a family setting. The play has received excellent feedback from students, "It was an amazing play and gave us a good insight to what life with dementia is life in the real world" The cast will be available for a live Q & A session after the event.

Please note: joining links will be sent after registration and closer to the event's date
